Incessant rainfall has triggered flood-like situation in Guwahati. Knee-deep water logging could be seen on all major and minor roads across the city. Many people were marooned inside their homes as roads were inundated with water. The IMD has issued red alert for heavy rainfall in several parts of Assam.
