<p>Two soldiers were injured in an ongoing encounter between army and militants in upper reaches of Bandipora forests in north Kashmir on Friday.</p>.<p>Sources said the incident took place during a search operation launched by the army's 27 Rashtriya Rifles a week ago in the woods of Chaan Daji and Dani Behak area of Bandipora.</p>.<p>On Friday morning, after observing suspicious movement in the area, the soldiers fired some warning shots.</p>.<p>" In the meantime, two army men who were part of the search party suffered bullet wounds," they said and added that the injured have been hospitalised.</p>.<p>Sheikh Zulfikar, Superintend of Police (SP) Bandipora, said they have received the information about the firing incident in the area and have deputed a police party to the site to ascertain the details.</p>
