Black flags, eggs greet Advani yatra in Punjab

Some activists also threw eggs as the yatra passed by. The route of the yatra had to be altered even as at least four dozen activists of the Akali Dal (Amritsar) and other groups opposed to the party ideology were arrested in Bathinda.

One of the activists, reportedly of the SAD (Amritsar), raised slogans against Advani while he was addressing a gathered at Barnala. The turnout was below expectation.
