Ceasefire along LoC won’t affect counter-terrorist operations: Indian Army

The ceasefire along Line of Control won’t affect counter-terrorism operations, assured Northern Command, GOC-in-C, Lieutenant General YK Joshi on February 23 while addressing the Gallantry awards ceremony in Udhampur.

“Joint statement by Director Generals of Military Operation of India and Pakistan, of both sides agreeing for strict observance of all agreements, understandings and cease firing along LoC from February 24-25, won't affect counter-terrorism operations. We will continue to remain alert,” said Lt. General Joshi.
