Civilian killed in Pulwama grenade attack

A civilian was killed and three others, including a CRPF trooper, were injured when militants hurled a grenade at the security forces in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.

A police official said the grenade was hurled at the forces deployed on law and order duty at Murran chowk, Pulwama, 30 km from here. The deceased is identified as Mohammad Ayoub Wani. Immediately after the attack, the security forces launched a manhunt to nab the militants, the official said.
