Ahead of the allocation of tickets for the upcoming Assembly elections, both BJP and Congress in Rajasthan are seeking recommendations on probable candidates from its party workers.

While BJP has asked the party workers from 31 Assembly constituencies to drop their recommendations for the most winnable candidates from their constituencies in a sealed box, Congress is expanding its election-related campaigns in the district.
Discussions were held with the party workers by senior leaders in BJP including chief minister Vasundhara Raje, and state party in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna among others. Taking a jibe at Congress, Raje said under the fear of losing the upcoming elections, the Congress had moved the Supreme Court alleging fake voters in the state electoral rolls, but their plea was dismissed.
However, its arch rival Congress is all set to launch a massive outreach campaign across the 51,000 polling booths in the state on October 21 with the slogan ‘Booth Jitao, Bhrastachar Mitao’ (win booth, remove corruption), informed state party president Sachin Pilot. The state Congress will also constitute sub-committees, to gather suggestions from stakeholders at the district level.
