Calling the Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023 being organised in India during India’s G20 Presidency a good ‘coincidence’, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on December 22 in Bhubaneswar, said that the opportunity will benefit the direction of India’s ambition to host the Olympic Games.
“It's a good coincidence that the Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023 is being organised in India as the country holds the Presidency of the G20. India has the ambition to host the Olympic Games, and in that direction, this Hockey World Cup is a big step forward,” the Union Minister said.
