<p>Srinagar: An ex-army personnel was killed, and his wife and niece were injured in a terrorist attack in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday.</p><p>The attack occurred in the Behibagh area of Kulgam when militants opened fire on Manzoor Ahmad Wagay and his family. According to officials, the family was swiftly taken to a hospital following the assault.</p><p> While Wagay succumbed to his injuries, his wife, Aaina Akhtar, and niece, Saina Hameed, were reported to be in stable condition, though both sustained leg injuries in the attack. Wagay was shot in the abdomen. Manzoor succumbed to his injuries, while the others have been evacuated to District Hospital Anantnag.”</p><p>The Army denounced the attack, describing it as a “cowardly act of terror” on unarmed civilians, particularly condemning the targeting of a woman and child. “….the inimical elements who do not want peace and prosperity which defines Kashmir of today to flourish.
