<p>On the occasion of post-centenary silver jubilee, the Diocese of Mangalore had planned to build 161 houses for the poor. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The 100th house, constructed for Helen D’Souza and her family, was inaugurated at Ranipura. <br /><br />Bishop Rev Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza blessed the house. Construction work of another 37 houses is underway. <br /><br /> Besides this, 28 more houses will be built at Mariashram church, Talapady for the landless needy families. <br /><br />The laying of foundation stone for these houses will take place August 15, informed a release.<br /></p>
