2024 elections will be led by Mamata: HDK

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will, in all likelihood, emerge as the leader at the forefront against the ruling regime ahead of the 2024 general elections, former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy said on Wednesday.

He was speaking at a Women's Day event organised at JP Bhavan here. Kumaraswamy asked all women leaders in his party to emulate Banerjee's courage.

"She was born a commoner and struggled her way through. She has fought for several social issues. Those who she nurtured have backstabbed her today and joined BJP. If she wins these elections, she will likely lead the fight ahead of the 2024 elections." he said.
