<p>Mysuru: MLC A H Vishwanath lambasted Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and asked him what are his achievements, in the wake of the Sadhana Samavesha (achievements convention) organised at Hospet on Tuesday (May 20), the celebration to mark the second anniversary of the CM-led Congress government.</p><p>Speaking to media people in Mysuru on Monday, Vishwanath asked, “What are your achievements? Why is your government holding this achievement convention? Forget your contributions for the State, what is your contribution to Mysuru, your native district? Travelling in helicopters to Mysuru frequently? Over the past two years, how much money have you spent on helicopters?”</p><p>Vishwanath posed many questions to Siddaramaiah, on the occasion. They include, “How much did you and your people loot in Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA)? What have you done for Kurubas, (your own community) and backward classes, at least? Guarantee schemes could be implemented only by madmen. Siddaramaiah is carried away by the praises heaped by sycophants. All district ministers are mired in contracts, transfers, and commission,” Vishwanath said.</p><p>“Will Siddaramaiah and his ministers declare their assets in the achievement convention?” he asked.</p><p><strong>Counter samavesha</strong></p><p>Vishwanath said, “We will hold a counter samavesha in Mysuru itself, to reveal the true colors of Siddaramaiah and his government.”</p><p>However, Vishwanath did not define ‘we’ in his statement. He is deemed to be in the BJP, but he spoke about the BJP like an outsider. He said, “There is no difference between the Congress and the BJP. The BJP was defeated due to its lies. The Congress will also be defeated by its lies”.</p><p>“In allotting 3,600 acres of land to the Jindals for mining, those involved have got a kickback of Rs 25 lakh per acre. They planned to create a Greater Mysuru Authority too. But, it did not seem profitable for the politicians, so it has been postponed. The Water Resources department has become very corrupt,” he said.</p>
