Amit Kumar Yadav, a second semester student of BE (Electronics) at Global Engineering College, reportedly ended his life by hanging early Monday morning.
According to police, he was not allowed to appear for examination due to lack of attendance and this could have led to his suicide.
He was found hanging in his Bhumika Layout house where he was staying with six others.
In another incident, Ramalingaiah (40), a daily wage labourer who was residing at Nayandahalli, reportedly ended his life by consuming poison on Monday afternoon at Chandra Layout.
