<p>Bengaluru: The BBMP is addressing pedestrian access issues around the Domlur flyover.</p>.<p>Chief Commissioner M Maheshwar Rao and Zonal Commissioner (East) Snehal R visited the area in June.</p>.<p>“We saw how the flyover and heavy traffic disconnect Domlur from Indiranagar. We are exploring solutions and hope to submit a report within a week,” Snehal said. Residents struggle to cross even short distances without vehicles. It is unsafe to walk,” said Revathy Ashok, Managing Trustee and CEO, B.PAC.</p>.<p>Due to poor access, residents take up to 20 minutes to cover 500 metres.</p>.<p>B.PAC has proposed seven interventions towards Indiranagar, Koramangala, Trinity Circle, and Marathahalli. Suggestions include high-rise pedestrian crossings with rumble strips, connecting walkways, ramp access, refuge island, and a skywalk.</p>.<p>Pedestrian walkways atop the flyover are not feasible, Snehal said. “The carriageway is too narrow, traffic is heavy, and risks are too high,” she added.</p>
