Bengaluru accident victim's heart to be airlifted to Hyderabad

The heart of Pandit Shivaraye Baje, 30, who was declared brain dead will be airlifted from Bengaluru to Hyderabad.  

The recipient is a woman at Yashoda hospital,  Hyderabad. The heart would be taken in a chartered flight from the HAL airport.

Baje's liver, kidneys and cornea have also been retrieved at Victoria hospital.

Baje was hit by a private bus on Thursday, when he was on his way to work. He worked at Japan metal systems private limited as a safety officer.
