The Karnataka BJP has decided to hold its two-day state executive committee meeting in Bengaluru from August 5.

The meeting will be a precursor to BJP national president Amit Shah’s three-day visit to the state from August 12. Shah had earlier planned to visit the state from August 3 but it has now been rescheduled.

Shah is likely start the preparation for chalking out an election strategy for the party during his visit.

Meanwhile, the state BJP will organise agitations across the state on Wednesday in protest against the “transfer and harassment” of honest officers.
