'CM should not buckle under pressure'

Addressing the media here, Major General Nanjappa, an ex-serviceman said Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa should not heed to the requests of those opposing the construction of the Memorial and buckle under pressure and shift the location.

“A few who reside at Krishna Apartments do not represent the whole of Karnataka. Residents of other parts of Bangalore, people in Shimoga, Hassan, Chikmagalur, Mysore and Belgaum have expressed absolute support to the project,” said Major General Nanjappa.
