Daily direct flight from Bengaluru to Port Blair

Bengaluru: Air India Express on Sunday launched a daily direct flight between Bengaluru and Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair). 

The inaugural flight took off from the city's Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) at 10:50 am. 

The flight will depart from Bengaluru at 10:50 am and land at Sri Vijaya Puram at 1:15 pm. In the return direction, it take off at 1:50 pm to reach Bengaluru at 4:20 pm, the airline said.  

Bengaluru remains a key hub for Air India Express, which operates 374 weekly flights from the city, connecting 25 domestic and two West Asian destinations, Abu Dhabi, and Dammam. 

The airline will connect Bengaluru to Chennai with direct flights from January 1.
