A musical high awaits Bengalureans at Phoenix MarketCity as two bands will perform on April 21 and 23 respectively.

On April 21, ‘Wingardiom Leviosa’, a four-piece indie band which includes Jitesh, Nachiket, Pranav and Trishna Shenai will perform. The band aims to create an experimental aura with their music. Some of their inspirations are ‘Neutral Milk Hotel’, ‘The Districts’, ‘Opeth’, ‘The Paper Kites’, ‘Aurora’, ‘The Beatles’ and ‘Dire Straits’.

The ‘Mother Root’ will perform on April 23. The band comprises of Austyn Goveas, Krithika Manohar, Nipun Ashba Narayan, Sushant Chandra and Jacques Nikolai Border. ‘Mother Root’’s earliest inspiration came from ‘The Stones’, ‘Deep Purple’, ‘The Who’, ‘CCR’, ‘The Kinks’, ‘Bowie’, ‘Queen’ and a generation of bands from the great 60s. Later their inspirations moved on to ‘The Ramones’, ‘Radiohead’.

The performance will be held at the Concert Lane (Courtyard), Phoenix MarketCity, from 6 pm to 9pm. The event is open for all.
