Elaborate police bandobast to ensure trouble-free counting in Bangalore

The ban orders will be in force from six am on May 16 to seven pm the next day, City Police Commissioner Shankar Bidari told the press.

The votes of Bangalore South, Bangalore North, Bangalore Central and Bangalore Rural constituencies will be counted in four centres, he said.

Carrying of weapons and bursting of crackers and congregation of more than five persons has been prohibited, Bidari said.
