Fake IG account in IPS officer’s name to mint money

IGP (Home Guards and Civil Defence), D Roopa, filed a police complaint on Saturday, saying an unidentified fraudster had created her fake account on Instagram and was collecting donations.

In the complaint to the cybercrime police, Roopa said one of her Twitter followers told her about the fake Instagram account (d_roopa_ips) on Thursday. The IPS officer has demanded that an FIR be registered and said she would write to Instagram to delete the account.
