Recalling Fernandes visit to Koshy's bakery and restaurant, Prem said, George Sir, used to find this place peaceful and calm." Fernandes used to like the smell of a bakery, he said, adding there are quite a lot of memories about his visit. He used to enjoy from cakes to everything.<br /><br />"His family also used to buy bread, cakes from us, we had that association." George Fernandes' brothers Michael Fernandes, a prominent trade union leader, and Lawrence Fernandes, who was arrested during the emergency have based the city. The former defence minister died Tuesday after a prolonged illness. </p>
