<p>Former chief minister N Dharam Singh was rushed to Vikram Hospital in the City early on Wednesday after he complained of fever and difficulty in breathing. <br /><br /></p>.<p>According to doctors treating him, Singh was rushed to the emergency unit at 8.30 am. Preliminary investigations revealed that he had mild chest infection. A panel of doctors headed by Dr P Ranganath Nayak, medical director, Vikram Hospital, comprising diabetologists, pulmonologists and physicians, have been attending to him.<br /><br />“Singh’s condition is stable, we have been continuously observing him. We are hopeful that he should be discharged in a day. However, he will be kept under observation for around 24 hours,” Dr Nayak added.<br /><br /><br /></p>
