He was 93. His last rites would be performed on Wednesday at Harishchandra Ghat. A social worker and a practising doctor, Dr S G Sheshadri served as Mayor in 1988. He won the corporation elections five times from Gandhinagar ward. Mayor S K Nataraj, Deputy Mayor Dayanand and corporators have condoled his death.
