Liquor shops to remain closed

The City Police Commissioner Shankar Bidari has passed an order in this regard as anti-social elements are likely to create law and order problem during Ganesha procession. The route identified for the procession is communally-sensitive. Hence, the police decided to ban liquor sale to ensure law and order.
