Lorry rams bike, rider killed

A 20-year-old man was killed after a lorry rammed his bike near Nagenahalli Gate under Yelahanka Traffic police limits on Wednesday morning.

Vinod Kumar, resident of Nagenahalli and a sales manager in a private company was on his way to work at round 8.50 am when the accident occurred.

As he reached Nagenahalli gate, a speeding lorry hit his bike. He suffered serious injuries and the passersby shifted him to a nearby hospital. But the doctors declared him brought dead.

The police said that the driver of the lorry fled the spot after abandoning the vehicle.
