<p>Bengaluru: Nearly 67,000 people visited the 218th edition of the Independence Day flower show at <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/lalbagh">Lalbagh</a> on Sunday, according to the Horticulture Department. </p>.<p>The show has been themed on freedom fighters Rani Chennamma and Sangolli Rayanna. </p>.Civic groups protest against ‘unscientific’ projects; demand focus on public transport.<p>A total of 67,310 people visited the event on Sunday, including 52,150 adults, 7,960 children and 7,200 schoolchildren, bringing in Rs 37,39,910 in revenue, said M Jagadeesh, Joint Director (Parks and Gardens). </p>.<p>The flower show will be on till Monday. The timings are 7 am to 7 pm. Ticket prices are Rs 80 on weekdays and Rs 100 on weekends for adults, Rs 30 for students above 12, and free entry for uniformed school students on working days. </p>
