Commuters parking vehicles at Mysuru Road Metro station will have to shell out more from Sunday. The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) has given out a licence to collect parking fees on a contract basis.

Although the contractor is yet to make extra parking arrangements, BMRCL has allowed parking fee collection from Sunday. “In order to ensure orderly parking, we have allowed parking charges from Sunday. The parking lot at Mysuru Road Metro station is the largest and can accommodate about 1,700 two-wheelers and about 250 four-wheelers. Boards have been placed to inform commuters of the commencement of parking charges and the various rates,” BMRCL spokesperson UA Vasanth Rao said.
