<p>A blind curve in Giriyamma junction on the Muddinapalya (Muddayanapalya) main road has residents in worry that it would become a major accident spot.</p>.<p>Daily, thousands of vehicles negotiate the blind curve from the Jnanabharathi RTO junction towards 60 feet road, and from Muddinapalya main road towards the Parvathamma Ramaiah Convention Hall. Adding to the danger is the heavy container vehicles passing through the junction from the Mallathahalli lakeside. </p>.<p>“We observe all kinds of travelling at this junction,” local resident C S Shekar Babu said. “Especially during the night, many vehicles have powerful headlights on and will move at great speed. We are scared that people might get into an accident and get hurt.”</p>.<p>He urged authorities to erect barricades or install road humps to cut down the speed before a major accident happens.</p>.<p><em>DH</em> contacted Bangalore Traffic Police (BTP), who assured that they would visit the spot and take necessary steps.</p>.<p>“I will ask my officers to verify the problem and I will also visit the place soon.
