Ragpicker found murdered

Manja of Banashankari, Kadrehalli was spotted lying in a pool of blood at a footpath near the mosque by an auto rickshaw driver around 4:30 am. The police are clueless about the perpetrators and the motive of the murder. Manja, it is said, had escaped from home and had taken to rag picking and selling narcotics. Madivala police have registered a case.

Two held

The Upparpet police arrested two persons for allegedly selling duplicate products of a well-known company and recovered 290 products. The suspects have been identified as Kishan Chowdhary (26) and Zameer Ahmed (35).

Enforcers of Intellectual Property Rights officials and the police raided a few shops  at Old Hongkong Bazaar, and arrested them.
