Mohammed Zabiullah, 27, a rowdy-sheeter, Yogesh, 27, and Chandra Kumar, 29, his associates, were arrested by the CCB sleuths in Saraswathi Nagar while they were allegedly planning to assault and rob rival gang members.
According to the Vijayanagar police, they recovered assault weapons and an autorickshaw from them. Following a tip-off, the police rushed to the spot and arrested the three who were waiting to attack the deceased rowdy Koli Shankar’s associates Prathap and Sait.
Ashok, a rowdy-sheeter, and Dayanand are absconding. All the three have several cases registered against them in various police stations across the City.
