<p>Bengaluru: Two children were killed when a <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/ksrtc">KSRTC</a> bus collided with their scooter on the Ramanagara-Kanakapura main road on Thursday morning, the police said.</p>.<p>The victims, Pradeep (5) and Bhavya (3), were siblings and hailed from Tamil Nadu. They were visiting relatives in Ramanagara during the holidays.</p>.<p>The children were travelling with their relative, Govind, and another rider, Madhu, who sustained severe injuries and are in a critical condition at a hospital, according to officials.</p>.Public transport not only about revenues.<p>The accident occurred as Govind was riding the scooter with the children near the outskirts of Bengaluru. The police said that the bus, heading towards Kanakapura, was speeding when it crashed into the TVS scooter.</p>.<p>"The children died on the spot, while Govind and Madhu suffered major injuries," a police officer said.</p>.<p>The Ramanagara Rural police conducted a site inspection and transported the bodies to a hospital. The children's parents have been informed. The bus driver has been taken into custody, and legal proceedings are underway.</p>
