<p>Bengaluru: The body of an unidentified man was found in the Vrushabhavati Canal near RV College on the city’s western outskirts, the police said on Friday. </p>.<p>The Kengeri police reached the spot at 12.20 pm after a security guard from the college alerted them. They recovered the body from the canal. </p>.<p>Prima facie, the body is that of a man, likely aged between 35 and 45. The police noted that the head and skull were decomposed and the belly was swollen. No external injuries were visible. </p>.<p>The deceased, about 5 feet 4 inches tall, was found wearing a t-shirt and shorts. A tattoo in Tamil reading 'S Jaya' was seen on the left side of his chest. </p>.<p>The Kengeri police have registered an Unnatural Death Report (UDR) and launched an investigation. </p>
