<p>Bengaluru: Assembly Speaker U T Khader’s landmark and ambitious plan to launch weekend guided tours of Vidhana Soudha is all set for a curtain-raiser event on April 27.</p>.<p>The pre-launch ceremony will take place on the grand steps of the Soudha. The project is being coordinated by multiple departments under the guidance of chief secretary Shalini Rajneesh.</p>.Bengaluru: Vidhana Soudha now open to public on government holidays.<p>On Tuesday, a preparatory meeting involving heads from various departments was held at the Soudha to finalise details. “The idea is to make the Soudha more accessible and relatable to the common public,” a senior official told <em>DH</em>.</p>.<p>The tours will be conducted every Sunday, second and fourth Saturdays and on public holidays, from 8 am to 5 pm.</p>.<p>Visitors will be grouped into batches of 30 people, each allotted a two-hour guided experience. </p>.<p class="bodytext">Although ticket pricing is yet to be finalised, officials said rates may vary from Rs 50 to Rs 150 per person. </p>
