A homemaker committed suicide by hanging herself at her house at Somasundarapalya, HSR Layout, on Friday.
Sushmita, 22, was married to Vijayakumar for two years. Sushmita delivered a baby two months ago. The couple had frequent quarrels over Vijayakumar’s drinking habits and financial problems, police said. On Friday, around 8.30 pm, Sushmita locked herself in and hanged herself with a plastic wire. The incident came to light when Vijayakumar rushed to house as Sushmita didn’t return his calls.
