The BJP state executive meeting being held in Mysuru has decided to launch “Vistar,” a party expansion programme, by deploying party legislators and district presidents at places where the party has a weak base.

“They will have to stay in places allotted to them for 15 consecutive days and reach out to people with the programmes and ideology of the party,” BJP state general secretary Aravind Limbavali told reporters.

The meeting also passed a political resolution stating that the Siddaramaiah government is the most corrupt in the country and should be voted out of power.

On Sunday, the meeting will deliberate on the 'failures' of the state government, preparations for party ideologue Deendayal Upadhyaya’s centenary events and future programmes of the party.
