The BJP plans to hold training camps for as many as 15 lakh of its workers, including one lakh in Karnataka, by November-end, BJP national general secretary and State in-charge, Muralidar Rao, said on Thursday.

Training for the first batch of 270 trainers concluded at Devanahalli near Bengaluru on Thursday. Such trainer training programme is being held across the country, he told reporters.

From next month, the party will start organising one-day training camps at the mandal level, followed by two-day camps at the district and three-day camps at the state-level. Members who have enrolled themselves with the party can participate in the camps. The aim of the party is to covert party members into voters and those interested into active workers, Rao said.

Ideological core issue, organisational structure, methodology in decision-making, best practices followed by the BJP-ruled states will be discussed at the camps.
