BSY to skip power ministers' meet

Instead, the CM has directed Home Minister V S Acharya to attend it.

The conference is likely to discuss the nagging problem of power shortage across the country. The State Government can present the situation here and demand for, among others, complete share of power from the central grid.

Official sources said the CM had plans to attend the conference. However, he was advised not to as it will be attended by only the Energy Ministers of State Government and that he will be the lone CM.
