Deeksha, 7, a second standard student of the Kendriya Vidyalaya at BEML Nagar, died after she was hit by a private bus at Gautham Nagar on Saturday.
The bus driver is absconding, said the police, adding that the infuriated citizens stoned the bus.
Robertsonpet police have registered a case.
