No changes have been introduced to the tax on liquor across the state, according to the Karnataka Budget presented by CM B S Yediyurappa on Monday.
The Excise Department had announced a 17 per cent hike on liquor tax in May last year to make up for the losses brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.
