Karnataka: Counselling for transfer of GP secretaries

Bengaluru: The counselling for transfer of gram panchayat secretaries grade 1 and 2 and grade 2 accounts assistants will be held till July 28.

According to a statement released by RDPR Minister Priyank Kharge’s office, 9% of the officials will face compulsory transfers in public interest alongside transfers based on general requests and 6% for special case requests.

“The entire process will be completed online and finalised within this timeframe,” it said. The final vacancy list will be released on June 30 and the last date to submit transfer or extension applications is July 2. Zilla panchayat officials must finalise these applications by July 7, with appeals against rejected applications due by July 9. Exemption lists will be published on July 10 and finalisation of counselling is due by July 14. Verification for inter-district spouse case transfers will also conclude by this date.
