“With the funds to be released, there are plans to set up two new stadiums in Tarikere and Sringeri,” DC said.
He said that 13 acre land has been indentified in Tarikere already while the search is on to identify suitable land in Sringeri. Once the suitable land is found in Sringeri works will be commenced promptly.
He informed that a spectators’ gallery will be constructed for Subhash Chandra Bose stadium at a cost of Rs 41 lakh as the stadium required the gallery along with some other infra structure development.
