<p>Belagavi: A farmer was killed in a lightning strike during unseasonal rains combined with thunders near Nesargi in Bailhongal taluk on Wednesday evening. </p><p>The deceased has been identified as Basavaraj Nagappa Sangolli (35) resident of Karikatti. His wife and two others have suffered injuries and have been admitted to a private hospital in Belagavi for treatment. </p><p>Lightning struck them while they were on their way back home after working in the agricultural lands. </p><p>Nesargi police have registered a case.</p>
