Farmers feted in Kushalnagar

Addressing the gathering after felicitating the farmers, Raitha Sangha Taluk President P I Bhaverappa said that farmers must utilise various facilities available from the government and should also stand against harassment from officials, corruption and other wrong practices.

He said that government must strive to provide adequate price for the produce of the farmers along with marketing facilities and provide rights over trees. Bhaverappa opined that Government must provide permanent solution for the wild elephant menace.
Farmers H H Sundar, Shivarudrappa, Abdul Gafur, Mohommad, Rajanna, Krishnamurthy, Niduni Annaiah were felicitated.

Office bearers Rangaiah, Muthanna, Chandrappa, Prakash and others were present.
