'Footprints 2017' in Canara PU College

Canara Pre-University College, Mangaluru will organise an inter school cultural festival, 'Footprints 2017', at the college campus on December 9.

Addressing mediapersons here on Wednesday, event coordinator Raghu Idkidu said that the inter school fest will provide a platform for students to exhibit their cultural and scientific skills.

The inaugural function will be held at 9.30 am. Achal Industries General Manager M N Pai will be the chief guest. Canara High School Association president S S Kamath, secretary M Ranganath Bhat and Canara PU College correspondent M Ganesh Kamath will be present.

20 students from each school will take part in group dance, group song, dumb charades, science model, quiz, face painting and collage competitions.

The valedictory programme will be held at 4 pm. Alva's Education Foundation Chairman Dr M Mohan Alva will be the chief guest and will give away cash prizes, mementos and certificates to the winners.

Canara PU College correspondent M Ganesh Kamath, Principal Dr Prabha Kamath Hundi, Dean Gopalakrishna Shetty and 'Foot prints 2017', Co-convener Subramanya M G were present during the press meet.
