Health check-up camp for cattle

He was speaking after inaugurating a cattle health check-up camp in Nagadenahalli of Srinivaspur taluk on Wednesday. He suggested farmers to give priority to grow grass.

Information at camp

Elaborating in detail on the services provided by department, he said free check-up camps are being conducted for the cattle in 15 villages of the taluk and necessary information and treatment are provided in these camps.

Infertility check-up camp was conducted for the cattle of Nagadenahalli and surroundings villages. Mass vaccination camp for the prevention of rinderpest disease was also held.

Sheep and chicks were also vaccinated.

Officers visited the spot where the grass was grown with the seeds provided by the department.

Dr R Nagabhushana Reddy, Dr Venkatesh, Dr Premkumar, Dr Ramesh, senior vet inspector M Ramakrishna, Munivenkategowda and others provided the veterinary service.
