On Friday, both the principals convinced the court and got the orders in their favour and obtained a stay with regard to the transfer orders passed by the board.

The ongoing feud between the Karnataka Central Diocese and the principals has turned ugly.  The aftermath had led  the board going on a revamping spree, transferring around 16 schools’ heads coming under its umbrella.

Police protection sought

The board was keen to see to it that the new principals take charge before May 11 and also sought police protection but the two heads of the institutions (Bishop Cotton Boys’ and Girls’ school) made their intentions clear to the top cop and convinced the police officer that going by the notice they have time till May 14.

Later, the two principals knocked the doors of the court and got the stay order.
Meanwhile, the other school principals have obeyed the transfer orders and took charge.
