HIV infected need encouragement, says DC

Speaking after inaugurating a programme to provide basic facilities to HIV infected here, he observed that HIV infected should be treated on par with normal people. Such people should be motivated and encouraged to live with dignity. Since there is no medicine for the Aids, awareness should be spread among people against it. Appreciating the role of self help groups, Amaranayana said that public assistance  is also needed to help infected persons.

While the number of anaemic is increasing in the district, the DC said that there is a need to provide suitable treatment to address the situation.
