A Congress member of the Hubballi-Dharwad Mahanagar Palike has drawn flak for posting a derogatory picture of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in a Whatsapp group of Palike members and other senior politicians.
The member Mohan Hiremani, has posted a GIF image of CM Siddaramaiah that turns into a gorilla's face when opened.
The Whatsapp group is titled 'Hubballi-Dharwad Mahila Congress'.
When this faux pas was brought to the notice of the group administrator Sunitha, she has removed Hiremani from the group.
It is learnt that even Energy Minister D K Shivakumar and other ministers are part of the group.
