II PU, SSLC results may be out early

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an interaction programme organised by the Karnataka Secondary Teachers Association at  Jaganmohan Palace here on Friday, Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Vishweshwara Hegde Kageri said that the second PU results will be announced within May 10 and SSLC results by May 20.

The minister said the reason behind the early announcement of results was to help students who will be preparing for their Common Entrance Test (CET).  At the same time, he also appealed to the parents to lodge complaints of donation if any, to the respective deputy commissioners, who also head the committee to hear those complaints.   Squads will be pressed into service to look into the complaints, he added.
