'Justice at doorsteps' in Anekal

 
The Fifth Fast Track Court, Bangalore has been hearing the case related to dacoity at Mutyalamadu. Mariyappa of Chikkahosahalli, a prime witness in the case has suffered spinal cord injury in an accident and confined to bed for about four months. The judge,  Mustaf Hussain, felt that deferring the case for the examination of the witness would delay the disposal and decided to conduct the hearing at the residence of the witness.

Accordingly, the house of Mariyappa in Chikkahosahalli turned into a court on Sunday. The witness was examined for over an hour. Public Prosecutor D M Karajola represented the prosecution.
